Salesforce Integration with Minimal Permissions

You can use the Keyplay Salesforce integration with minimal permissions by following the steps here

Steps

  1. Create or Use an existing SF profile with the Salesforce Integration User License

  2. Create and Assign a custom Profile called Keyplay Integration

  3. set the Default Account Record type for the Profile

Note: turn OFF "Enhanced Profile User Interface" (under User Management Settings) so you can set a default record type for the Keyplay Integration Profile, then turn that setting back on

Once that's done, create and assign a Permission Set called Keyplay Integration User.

Important: When configuring this permission set, you have to select the "Salesforce API Integration" License type*

From there, you'll want to:

  • Give Read, Create, Edit, ad View All permissions for the Account Object

  • Give access to the Record Type

  • Give Edit access to the Account fields we want Keyplay to populate (consider both enrichment and net new accounts)

  • Assign the Permission Set License "Salesforce API Integration"

This should allow you to integrate with Keyplay with the most minimal permission set possible.

As always, feel free to reach out to Keyplay with any questions!
