Importing account lists into Keyplay allows you to enrich and score external data using Keyplay’s AI and enrichment tools. This guide will walk you through when and how to use the Import List feature.
🧐 Why Use Account Import?
There are two primary scenarios where importing an account list can be valuable:
1. Accounts Not in Your CRM
If you have a list of accounts stored outside your CRM, for example, a list of accounts from event attendees, you can use the import feature to score and enrich them with Keyplay data.
2. Custom Lists for AI Agent Enrichment
If you’ve curated a specific list of accounts you want to run through your AI agents, you can import that list to tag them for AI enrichment easily.
📥 How to Import an Account List
Follow these steps to import your list:
Navigate to the Account Lists Page
In the Keyplay platform, go to the Accounts section in the main navigation.
Then select Account Lists.
Start the Import
Click on the Import List button.
3. Upload Your CSV File
Prepare your list of accounts in a CSV format.
Drag and drop the file into the uploader on the import screen.
✅ Pro Tip: Make sure your CSV includes the domain, the LinkedIn URL, or both.
4. Add a tag
When you add your CSV, you'll have the ability to add a tag to your list. Make sure the tag is relevant to the list of accounts you're importing. For example, if you're importing a list you want to enrich with marketing headcount, add the tag "Marketing Headcount June."
🔍 Working with Imported Lists
Once your list is imported:
Edit or delete your list’s tag if needed
View all accounts on a specific list by clicking its tag
Filter the Accounts page by that tag to focus your view
Enrich accounts directly from the list with selected AI agents
You’ll be shown how many accounts are eligible and how many enrichment credits will be used before proceeding.
🔁 CRM Sync and De-duplication
Keyplay handles data from multiple sources intelligently:
Accounts that exist in both your CRM and an imported list will not be duplicated
Instead, the account will appear in both your CRM-synced list and your imported list
For example, if Okta exists in Salesforce and is also in your June import, it will show under both sources, but it’s treated as a single unified account
📂 Where to Find Imported Accounts
Imported accounts will appear under the Imported tab within the Account Lists section
You can easily view all past imports along with the tags you applied
