When Keyplay pulls in your account records from your CRM, they will first be validated by our system by checking that the domain on the account is valid, and there is a company LinkedIn page we can find.
If the domain is not valid, or we cannot find a LinkedIn page, we'll mark the account as unvalidated and will not be able to score it.
When an account has an invalid domain (Input Error: Missing Domain, Input Error: Invalid Domain, or Input Error: Invalid Domain Redirect), we suggest deleting that account from your CRM.
The following table covers the different validation status and their meanings:
Status | Definition | Action |
Ok | The record was able to be validated and is in your defined Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) | Enrich with Keyplay data and action accordingly |
Warning: Domain Redirect | The record’s domain redirected to a different site | Review record to see if it should be updated or deleted |
Input Error: Invalid Domain Redirect | This record's domain redirected to an invalid site (e.g. godaddy.com or x.com) | Update the domain or delete from CRM |
Input Error: Missing Domain | The record did not have a domain, and therefore wasn’t able to be validated | Enrich with domain or delete from CRM |
Input Error: Invalid Domain | The record’s domain was invalid, so the record could not be verified | Update the domain or delete from CRM |
Validation Error: LinkedIn Not Found | The domain was able to be verified, but we could not find a matching LinkedIn page | If you're seeing a lot of these, contact us to run a match report
